Sharing Experiences from Life, Love, and God...

CJ. Everhart was born in Germany.  Since moving to the United States, she has lived in several states (including Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, Florida, and Ohio).  She has been married for 25 years and has two children.  She was inspired to sing because of her mother, the late Betty J. Simmons Jones.

Since high school, CJ. Everhart has been an inspirational speaker and professional solo artist.  She is an ordained non-demoninational keynote speaker. She has traveled throughout the United States speaking, teaching, singing, and acting in stage plays that she has written and directed.

Never trading in her writing and speaking abilities, CJ.'s background includes her work as a Sergeant (from which she retired on disability due to a hand injury after 12 years of service).  CJ. worked in Accident Investigations as a Detective, was certified as a D.A.R.E Officer, wrote columns for the City's Police department, received a mayoral proclamation for instruction in Cultural Sensitivity/Awareness, taught Cultural Sensitivity at the Ohio Fire Academy, taught at the Police In-Service Training Unit, and taught for the City's Microsoft Applications Unit.  She conducts plays and productions as well as gives concerts for various professional venues.  She has published articles, poems, short stories, and two books.

While employed as a Sergeant, CJ. became a mother. God laid on her heart to ask her husband to homeschool their two children (which are now in high school).  While working, CJ. continued homeschooling and began teaching at homeschool cooperatives.  After her retirement, CJ. founded the Inspirational Youth Orchestra and Inspirational Youth Organization to encourage youth to excel in arts and academics through music and art programs.

Along the way, there have been great challenges...  CJ attended twelve schools during her childhood.  During the eleventh grade, it became necessary for CJ. to live in a shelter home for six months.  This placement occurred for her (along with her mother and younger brother sister) after experiencing compassion from the Salvation Army (during a week-long stay in one of their facilities that only allowed two-day accommodations).

In life, many experience treachery and CJ. experienced the tragedy of deceit and the necessity of an annulment.  Close to death, many times... God spared CJ.'s life for His purpose and glory.

Today, CJ. is happily married with two children.  She continues sharing her story and words of inspiration as a keynote speaker and singer to encourage the young and old through events that empower families, students, women, churches, employees, and many other groups in need of her unique background and experience.

No matter the obstacle or challenge,

                                  CJ. is a witness that,

                               "The journey is worth it!"
